Get in Touch →Twenty years in, seven albums deep, and still louder than half the bands a third their age. Mr. Irish Bastard formed in 2006 and have spent the years since chasing the line where Pogues-style folk ends and four-on-the-floor punk begins.
They have shared stages with The Pogues, Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys and The Levellers, played over 1,000 shows across Europe, China and Japan, and built a reputation as one of the hardest-working Celtic punk outfits in the world.
The current record, Battle Songs of the Damned, is the seventh in a run that started with St. Mary's School of Drinking. Catchier choruses, bigger rooms, same drunken anthems and nursery rhymes on crack.
First-class musicians whose homogeneity can knock you sideways. More than six or seven Guinness in a row.
